The Directors of EXIGENT SECURITY GROUP are vastly experienced in the hospitality industry.
We refer to the guard force working in Hotels as Safety Ambassadors. Recruits are selected based upon their ability to interact positively with guests, maintain grooming standards as well as to uphold the image of the hotel. We believe that our Protection Officers act as guest relations officers within the confines of the hotel whilst remaining alert at all times for any criminal activity.
The focus of the training provided to Protection Officers working in this environment are:
• Security Awareness and Protection
• General Guest and Staff Assistance
1. Championing of the Health and Safety Programme
2. Implementation of Emergency Procedures and Disaster Management Programs
3. Monitoring of Fire Equipment functionality and facilitation of annual service and or maintenance
4. Assistance with the control of operating equipment losses and the implementation of a loss control program
5. Staff searches and the prevention and reduction of Food and Beverage losses
6. Access control to guest floors and crime prevention in all public areas
7. Loading bay controls and goods receiving procedures.
8. Assistance with the auditing, monitoring and issuing of guest key cards in accordance with various systems
9. General Key Control
10. Design of comprehensive audit checklists for night lock up inspections
11. Provision of additional management and guarding for special events and conferences
12. Professional investigation of all incidents with a comprehensive report back program throughout the investigation
13. Implementation of tracking systems to control lost and found items
14. Room safes control and battery maintenance system
15. Control room monitoring
16. Liaising with the local police, community and business forum.
